Watching this so close to Endgame only underlines how misguided the DC efforts were.  Marvel should be commended for being able to distill and adapt their stories for the screen so that they appeal on such a mass level.  Snyder misunderstood (and still misunderstands) the essence of both Batman and Superman, and as a result the extended universe as a whole.  Kevin Feige will likely never get enough credit for guiding that whole effort.  I wish DC had a Kevin Feige for their Universe.  Justice League isn't a bad movie, but it's underwhelming.  For sure.

We went to the Swingin' Midway Drive-In for the first time this season.  If I won the lottery, I'd love to buy this place.  They've done a good job in fixing some of the stuff up over the past several years, and the booking has improved dramatically with the new projection system and whatnot.  But there are still parts that are rundown--I'd like to see about upgrading the sound system....they've got an FM transmitter, but only the first couple of rows have working speakers now.  I think the place could do with and a new snackbar, and definitely improved restrooms.
