Yeah, it's ham-handed. But there's something about it that I like. I won't apologize for it. It's not a good movie. But there's something that keeps me from tossing this one on the discard pile. Probably it's in the performances. I like Bryce Dallas Howard in this. A lot. There's a lot of talent in this cast beyond her. I'd forgotten that Brendan Gleeson was in it, though he does very little notable. I'd also missed the bit where Judy Greer played Howard's sister in this, and would do so again in Jurassic World last year.
